My Father has passed (1 Viewer)

John,
So Sorry to hear of your Fathers passing, I'm sure he was very proud of the man you've become. Personally, I would of loved to have had my father till 90, regardless, it never seems enough.

Bernard.

John,

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

Our condolences John on the loss of your father. Another one from the greatest generation. Take care. J

Bummer man, sorry to hear the sad news, all the best to you and yours.

I have not been very active on the forum lately, or very responsive to messages as I have been dealing with my Dad's declining health. He passed on Wednesday and I thought I would post this short note.
My Dad was a WWII Vet who received the Bronze Star for his actions in France and Germany. He lived a **ll life nearly reaching 90 years.
I will probably not be back for awhile as I have many issues to deal with. I wish my fellow forum members with elder parents all the best as it can be a very difficult time.

John,
Sincere condolences to you and your family. I can tell you from past experience, be thankful and remember the great times, those memories are special. I lost my Dad 19 years ago at age 49, time does heal and good memories help! Thoughts are with you,

Tom

Sorry to hear for your loss. Good luck with everything and to your family in dealing with this hardship. Come back when you are ready.

My thanks for all the wonderful comments from my friends here on the forum. I must say it is a little overwhelming. I knew the day would come, but now there are so many things to do....it's hard to know where to start.

I have excellent advisors, so it will all work out, but it will certainly keep me busy.

JA
