Welcome to the dark side ! Those figures look GREAT in your desert dio, can't wait to see future installments.
Thankyou Mike . . . . there is plenty of winter left to develop future installments of my fledgling DAK collection.
Mike,
I never thought I would see the day you would start collecting WWII, but how can anyone resist with First Legions WWII range?!?!?! I have two of the 101st Airborne figures I picked up about a month ago and they are splendid! I have always had a close connection to World War II so that's why I started collecting the range in addition to their ACW, which you know already is top notch. I look forward to your future additions and of course your wonderful dios!
Never say Never . . . . I have been resisting these for a very long time. Its been difficult to do especially when Frank posts his fabulous photos of the same range.
Outstanding Mike! Looking forward to future posts! Brad
Thanks Brad.
Mike,
Looking good! I was wondering what you were up to when you started selling off various parts of your collection. Congrats on the excellent acquisitions.
Best,
Josh
I have always used parts of my collection to fund new additions or ranges . . . the important thing for me is to stay in the game so to speak so that I can continue to participate in a hobby that I enjoy very much.
aaaaah Mike...
I just found this...
hehehe...
you can't leave them alone can you...^&grin
this looks great and I know you will bring a whole new dimension to displaying this series...
love the Dept 56 too...one of my favorite structures...
Are you laughing at me or with me my Texian friend. I know, I know what we have talked about inthe past . . . . what can I say, you are correct, I can't leave FL alone.
Great sets to start with Mike, I agree with the others and you really can't go wrong with any of the WWII ranges, Normandy, Stalingrad, Dak, I look forward to seeing your collection grow in the near future...Sammy
Sammy, you may be listed as a co-defendant in my divorce (along with Frank) since you are partly to blame for this with the photos you also post. Although this time of the year here in Wisconsin made me think that Stalingrad was just to cold to dela with . . . . wanted something more sunny and war, thus DAK :wink2:
You can say that again Brad . . . . Its a very serious case of "cabin fever" that I have succombed too {eek3} . . . . very contagious . . . . and I think the "cure" will be very expensive :wink2:
Welcome to the poor house.......nice job
Thank you Alex and I don't doubt a thing about the poor house being in my future.
Mike,
A wonderful diorama and with the best military miniatures made-First Legion, of course! Thank you for posting the pictures!
Alex {bravo}}
Thank you Alex . . . . These figures are quite exquiste aren't they . . . . It appears that I am now sold on at least the DAK range.
