My Hobby Room (2 Viewers)

Thank you Guy for posting some of your figures and dioramas. Your painting and skills in creating a scene from history is amazing. How long have you been doing the figures and painting? I got hooked on plastic models and been interested in this hobby for more then 30 years. Kind of addicting. John

I am a bit like you. I started with plastic models between the age of 12 and 15 and later switched to metal. Now I am also making my own figurines ( conversions of existing metal models) My speciality is the painting of uniforms up to the smallest detail and the creation of dios which are historically 100% correct. I have been interested in this hobby ever since that early age . I am now 65 but thanks to my hobby still very active.
guy:)

I believe this hobby keeps you active both physically (to an extent) and mentality. I am going to be 70 this next June (where did the time go ) and will keep doing this for some more year's if God is willing. I do have a harder time getting started on a project and have some to finish. John

Great photos Guy  just go to show you don't need to spend hundred of pounds on armour when you can us FOV stuff witch you can pick up cheap

Great work Guy. I love a small diorama that tells a story and yours look great. Thanks for posting.

Hi,
A few weeks ago I promised you could have a peek into my Hobby Room were I have on display over 600 metal , hand painted, WWII soldiers (1/30,1/32,1/35 scale), straight from the box, conversions or scratch built figurines and vehicles.
Just to give you an idea what I am talking about here are a few pictures of small dio's and vignettes I have in my collection.
On the pictures you will find FoV vehicles combined with an arrey of figurines from different brands(a lot of them do not exist anylonger)
Hope you enjoy it,:):) an more to follow
