My JJD Knights of the Sky Collection (1 Viewer)

Very neat looking truck with the usual outstanding JJD detail and finish. That canopy looks like real canvas. -- Al

Thanks Al . . . . the detailing (stitching and weathering) on the canvass is extremely well done . . . . .

Thanks Moe,
I guess I will do so!
Do you have John´s e-mail by any chance?
Cheers
Luiz

Hi Luiz,

In my experience, JJ is very receptive to suggestions. Why not shoot him an email with the request? If you're in possession of pics of the vehicle configured as you invision, you might want to include them.

Thanks Moe,
Did that..and on a nut shell this is what I told him....
"....I even thought that it would be a great add-on..... to use Crossley Tender, the Aussie Ford Model Ts and the Rolls Royce Armoured Car ( Wheels Across the Desert ) and make it part of a nice desert patrol …..{sm3}
Could you please consider offering the tender with the canvas down so that we can benefit from the cargo area as well as the cab…I have already even thought of adding some of the Ford Model Ts crews to the inside of the Tender and it would make a fantastic set for the Wheels Across The Desert - Palestine area of operations 1917!!!
In the event, you not having such a variant planned as a standard offering ( many would live to get one! ) what would cost to have one set made without the canvas ( in other words stop the assembly just on the step prior to gluing the canvas top! For what I can see the cargo area is available from the back of the tender and the cab is also very detailed with driving wheel and all…So I can easily add some of the Aussie troopers that you have for T Models and add them to the Tender…."

I am now figers crossed to see what happens.....
Cheers
Luiz

???? Well Photo Bucket has blocked my availability to upload my pictures to the TF Forum (3rd Party Hosting). In order to be able to continue to do this I have to upgrade my service options which will cost $400 a year. Guess what . . . . that's not going to happen. Has anybody else experienced this? Going forward I will try and upload photos via the TF forum site but its been so long ago since I did that I don't remember how its done. I'll be back when I get this figured out . . . . .

This photo was previously posted on this thread. Just experimenting with re-sizing my photos in my Windows Live Photo Gallery so that I can upload them using the TF upload feature . . . Seems that this method of posting will work fine . . . .

You too Larry! Wow, its becoming a pandemic. I download photos from my camera to a storage area on my computer called "pictures" similar to "documents", "downloads", "music", et al that are on my computer. Once the photos have downloaded to my computer I then edit them in Windows Live Photo Gallery using the drop down screen "properties" . . . . I know this is probably as clear as mud the way I have explained it here . . . . I'll try and help you as much as I can, but please understand I am not much of an IT type of guy . . . just remember that to uploas to the TF posting your photo can not be any bigger in dimension than 1500 x 1100.

Ya' they sent me the nasty-gram ..... the burn is that I just paid them $14 to get rid of ads. They wait a few days then wack me with $399 +

So once the photos are up load into the TF thread then they are part of that thread. I was concerned that I would have to keep my computer on 24/7 so the photos would appear when someone looked at the thread.

Seem like they get installed into the TF host system rather than a link to PB.

Guess that is what I will try first ...

Many thanks, Mike
