Another great work from K&C. This cutie is a darling. Great work Andy! any DAK version on the horizon?

I second the praise on the Kuble. The figures are top notch also. A lot of diorama potential! Would also like to see a DAK version.

Looks a bit small to me ala the Greif.

Took my K&C Kubelwagen to the nearest hobby shop near me. They carry the "enthusiast" versions of FOV. FOV Kubelwagen is much smaller in size.

Then I guess the size is accurate, as someone else said they were rather small vehicles. Btw, I read somewhere that they were half the cost to produce than the motorcycle-side cars.

It may be 100% accurate for all I know, but it still looks small as a display piece. Bring on those gigantic German tanks!

The original resin and metal version also looked small, but was the correct scale. Andy made Waffen SS [both western and summer eastern front markings] (TK05) and Afrika Corps (AK08) versions, before making polystone summer and winter SS versions, which were a bit bigger, and, quite frankly, kind of chunky looking and poorly sculpted.

I received mine today (+ the officer with binoculars) and, as I am concerned, it's the best set produced by K&C this year. At last, a vehicule that is not a tank, with great figures. We need more utility vehicules like the Kubelwagen, dingo scout car, Kettenkrad and others 251 or Krupp truck (WS37) - however, I must admit that the upcoming Flakpanzer is a beauty.

As for the scale, the driver of the Kubelwagen is obviously bigger than the driver of the Krupp truck and the later is almost the same size of the premier. No doubt that the scale is 1:30.

Pierre.

Hi Louis, do you mean the current polystone Kubelwagen is chunky looking, or were you refering to the immediately post woden-resin version.
