My Little Collection since 2010 (1 Viewer)

Julie...

rumor was...

that you won this figure on a bet that you couldn't guzzle an Amaretto Sour...

HERE is where that crack was made!!! I couldn't figure out what you were referencing in your email.

You guys are a hoot . . . . No memory, no pictures, no proof . . . . thus it didn't happen???

Next additions!! Not exactly toy soldiers but related :)

These gifts arrived with my mail yesterday from a kind gentleman in Virginia Beach. Thank you Skip!!
Very neat and now I just need to buy something to display them on here in the office!

My odd little group is growing! I fully intended to actually purchase this figure but his former owner decided to give him to me :)
He will fit in nicely with my LeMan's group!

TA-Golfer.jpg

With the odd (but awesome) weather as of late some golf courses are open in Rochester (MN)!! May try to squeeze in an outing just for the sake of golfing .... in December .... in Minnesota {eek3}

Congrats on the addition -
we are looking at 55-60 degrees this weekend here. I too, might try to get out for a quick round!
Enjoy!!!

Imperial I believe. They make/made some nice civilian figures.

Nice figure, Julie :wink2:
See that you get out for a round.
The weather is odd.
Looking at the higher 60's here in Kentucky for this weekend.
And that is two weeks before Christmas {eek3}
Now, if you have that kind of weather up North in MN at this time, you better use it ^&grin

A few more items to add as they arrived yesterday! I was informed I collect 'weird' things (I think that has been awarded to someone else already tho....:wink2:)
It's just my turn to get 'pinned' I guess :eek:

But a big Thank You to Brad for sending these along as they fit nicely into the display-er I picked up for my Coins!
Sits in my window with a backdrop of a foot of snow as of today with more still falling .....

Time to look at cashing in some Christmas certificates and hitch a plane outta here!!!!

Glad you like them Julie ^&cool

The B 17 and Landing Craft pins were given out in connection with the "Shock and Awe" items.

Well I haven't really found much I have wanted (or needed?) this year .... at least pertaining to "Toy Soldier" related collectables! But since tomorrow marks 6 years of working here -- figured I'd update this.
I did pick up some sweet Warbird Pin-up Art at the Reading Air Show but have decided not to post pics of those - no worries, they are classy!
I am thinking about hanging them here in the office -- SHHHH, don't tell my boss {eek3}

Now on to what I found!
Randomly a glossy K&C Pilot with a pup! Yup, that works for me - and super cheap as the shop didn't have a clue about it.
K&C Pilot.jpg
(I may have developed a thing for pilots after attending Reading :eek:)

And this it rather un-related but SO MUCH FUN! One of my friends picked this up for me as I have had an interest in the Sinclair Dino since high school. He was the subject of a few paintings and sculptures throughout high school and college. My current mission is to find all the statues of him I can as I travel on road-trips! Fun Photo-ops and a reason to stop and get out of the car!

Off to enjoy the weekend with some base ball and whatever other adventures I may happen upon :)

I need to get in the same car and not really need anything more this year. These are cute and so not expensive, oh to happy like you Julie, where less is more. ^&cool, Robin.

Julie,

Your pilot is early K & C, from The First of the Few, one of the best sets they've ever produced. I have a couple of extra figures from the set if you'd like them.
