My Little Collection since 2010 (1 Viewer)

Does it go without saying that this one was added to the group? :D

Don't know if I understood the comments on the KC forum correctly, or not, but I got the impression that this was going to develop into something of a range-within-a-range. Very fitting addition to the catalog and well received at my house.

I have been slow at this as usual....oh well!

No brainer that this figure stayed in my collection! And eventually I will actually buy the painted version because I will just have to, right?

And then THIS came in the JJD mail from John {sm4} Again, not exactly a "Toy Soldier" but so fun!

I asked for a specific box for my "Julie" figure and John was kind enough to include this surprise in the box! "Hanging" out above my desk now!

And then at the Chicago Show John (aka Leadman) gave me some more Figarti pins for my little shadow box.

I found a few other items in Chicago but I have not decided if I am giving them away yet or not! Time will tell......

I have a couple of figures for you that I will bring to Hackensack.

My fault Julie. I forgot to bring them :(

I will get them into the mail to you.

Congratulations on having the little girl dancing with her dog - named after you Julie. jb:D

Thanks jb!

I can't believe I forgot to post that I also have added the painted version to my little collection - at the generosity of John of course

So now I have the prototype and the painted one to enjoy in my office space (ps that stapler is MINE)

In honor of the not so Spring "Spring" weather we are having....she gets a snowflake background!

WOW - I have been awful at updating this obviously.....but since yesterday was my 13 year Anniversary since I started at Treefrog, I figured I'd post today!

A few gems have been added to the shelves over the years, but not many. But as some of you know, I have a 'thing' for Dino Sinclair, so my 'holy grail' acquisition this year was my very own Metal Dinosaur Statue!

A road trip after arriving home from Gettysburg back in July resulted in this guy being added to the front of my home's landscaping where I have been slowly killing a bush I disliked....he fits perfectly!

He makes my smile every day! Importance of anything one collects, right?

Cheers to another 13 years down the road everyone!

My grandfather owned a Sinclair gas station in the 1960s and 70s. :salute:: Chris

Thanks for the pic Rob! Glad you went on a 'hunt' and found a few Sinclair's by you, even if they were devoid of Dino's!

Hi Julie,
You're most welcome. It was fun on a wet and overcast Saturday morning in search of a little green dino.
A few shots of the store that had one outside. The attendant told me the owner had put the Hawaiian skirt on it early in the month:

Have fun on your future adventures!

Had a new floor put in the living room recently and thus had to move the one curio that exists in that space! And so the few 'toy soldier' items that have wound their way into my living space had to be moved.....

Collection2024a-M.jpg

Some very random pieces that make me smile....and laugh when displayed on this weird mushroom thingy my sister gave me several years ago! Sasquatch rules them all......

Collection2024b-M.jpg

Santas and Airplanes always go well together, right?

Collection2024c-M.jpg

Just a few more airplanes.....

Some day I'll organize my office shelves for pics of what I choose to see every day I am at my desk!!!

After 14 years down....we shall see how many more items make into my personal space 😁

Julie

Not sure anyone can describe what you have here, but it’s different and obviously loved. You are in a position to see all sorts of things go across your desk and snap up the ones that appeal. Keep sharing. Robin.

Julie, I think you win the prize for the most 'Eclectic' collection on the forum, very noice, different, unusual :D

BTW, when you said you put another 'floor' in your living room, I initially thought you must have a high ceiling and put in a Mezzanine level or similar
