A while ago, i decided to start collecting medics, nurses, etc. I limited myself to military related figures rather than civilians. Here is the collection so far. If you know of any good sets that I'm missing, let me know.

NOTE: Only allied figures (sorry to all of you gray fans - but none in the collection!)

As an aside - I limited myself to actual medics, etc. I decided not to include things like a soldier helping a wounded buddy

Zach, I see that you have some glossy figures so you may want to check Beau Geste which has several medical related sets in their WW 1 catagory. The sets include British and French Medical corps sets and a Camel Field Ambulance set, available in gloss or matte. -- Al

Here are a couple of mine, like the medics too. Robin.

Beau Geste makes a set you might be interested in: a medical camel carrying two wounded soldiers.

Just looked and between Little Legion and Beau Geste, I am in BIG trouble!

Anyone hiring? I'm going to need a second job to pay for all of this! {eek3}

No need to work the clock around Zach - just pick up a few castings from Dorset Soldiers - and with a dab or two of paint - you can have something close to a Britains pre-WW1 horse drawn ambulance for a lot less than the real thing:D

Oh, I wish! I'd have a collection of plain metal castings with a blob of paint on the them {sm2}

Well - If you like that sort of thing - here's another you could try putting a few blobs on.:D The figures are again from castings from Dorset Soldiers - but built into an old Dinkey Jeep - modified and being used as an ambulance in WW2. At the rear is a copy of the Timpo stretcher bearers with patient. A couple more stretchered patients from this set have been used for the jeep - whilst the driver and passenger ( administering a drip to the front patient) are made up to look like Timpo pieces, though of course they aren't really.

Then - a swipe or two of paint later - another set which doesn't require a second job!:D jb

Very nice JB.....It is just great how you were able to match these two/three different manufacturers and come up with such an eye catching final sets....Luck came in handy as far as scale given that Dinky and Timpo were not really correct scale pairing.....Very nice. Loved the jeep combos.....
Congrats
