My Monongahela diorama (1 Viewer)

The background was painted by the railway connection. They primary paint background panels for model railroads but they are more then willing to take on other projects. The pricing is very reasonable. I only paid $25 for my backdrop!! Here are a few detailed images of my backdrop before I trimmed it put it in my case.

A very nice set-up!!! You definitely capture the drama of this event and you do these figures a great justice in your presentation! Jenkins would be proud! :)

BTW, what are the dimensions of your curio cabinet and what is the make? I'm in the market for one and yours looks like it has a nice depth to it. Thanks.

You might want to look at the display cases made by Showcase Designs.

I have one of their display cases and will be buying another on in the future as soon as the budget allows.

I am not connected with them, I just like their displaycases, I purchased one and think others on the forum might like them too.

The only thing that would make this diorama look better is if it was sitting in my house. :)

You really DON'T heed massive numbers of these beautiful figures to get the story across!

That is an excellent layout-well done and visually very impressive.

Those JJ figures really are something else and I told him so when I bought a few boxes of them from him at one of the London Shows-he replied "Thank you but you've seen nothing yet";)
