I am very sorry for your loss. My girlfriend (48) was just diagnosed with Alzheimer's and it is very hard. I can feel your pain of loss.

Please share our condolences. As my mother was in decline for three years before her death at 97, I can sympathize with you to a certain degree. (Dad went faster . . . three weeks.) It is never easy, but you can recall the good years and all that your parents gave you. Hang in there, my friend, and let your good memories sustain you.

Sorry to hear of your loss of your mother, and i hope you are able to get her home safely with everything going on down there. Last year when my son passed away it took me 11 days to get him home as his body got stuck in atlanta when their computers went down. Looking back, the emptiness will always be there and nothing is the same but i have been learning to cherish all the happiness he brought into my life and hopefully you can do the same with your mom.
