In a way it was a blessing, she was really suffering at the end. I definitely will hug my children more!

Sorry to hear of your loss of your mother, and i hope you are able to get her home safely with everything going on down there. Last year when my son passed away it took me 11 days to get him home as his body got stuck in atlanta when their computers went down. Looking back, the emptiness will always be there and nothing is the same but i have been learning to cherish all the happiness he brought into my life and hopefully you can do the same with your mom. My mother's wake and service will be on Monday September 18th from 4:00 pm through 6:00 pm at Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, 128 Main Street, Port Washington, New York 11576. Anyone who would like to attend is welcome.
