I haven’t watched it in years. The last episode I remember stumbling across was set in London during the blitz. There was a monster that looked like a little kid wearing a gas mask who kept asking people “are you my mommy” and then turning them all into monsters like him. The Doctor figured out that nanobots from a crashed medical ship had brought the boy, killed during an air raid, back to life, but had no idea what a human was supposed to be like. He figured out who the kids mother was, the nanobots used her as a model, and everybody was restored. The last line was the Doctor saying “just this once, everybody lives.” It was a great episode, with much better special effects than the episodes I watched as a kid. But I never had the time to really get back into it.I'm a huge Sci fi fan and still watch Dr Who. Some Doctors were certainly better than others, the current Female Doctor with a Yorkshire accent is one of the less convincing, but finding her episodes are improving, somewhat.
