I scored this retire kit off evil bay for a ok price. Well after 3 weeks of working on it ( couple hours a day),
I finally completed it. It was a challenging kit to build but in the end it was worth it. I decided to go with a green
olive drab painting to some how match the 1:1 replica model display in the museum. Hope you like the pictures.

superb work. really like the colour scheme on this one also. The detail in the engines is excellent for a small kit

hey thanks Mitch. I built it out of the box. Too bad they don't make this kit any more. It would be awesome in 1:32 scale.
Below are couple more pics

Looks great! I wish I had the time to build kits again. There is a feeling of satisfaction that comes with building or otherwise being creative that way.

Nice extra pics. I would love to have a crack at a 1/32nd kit in this. 1/48th is not a scale that attracted me though I know it is very popular with modellers It has Trumpeter written all over it as they do some obscure kits.

Trumpeter is a good candidate to produce this awesome plane in 1:32. Although 1:48 is smaller, I feel much comfortable to work on this scale than the smaller 1:72 ones plus they don't take too much shelf space. I still have the Trumpeter Desert Stuka 1:32 kit in my stash but it has to wait until the winter as I'm going to build a modern Russian sukhoi su-25 next.

yes I know what you mean. I try my best to spend couple hours/day to work on the hobby.

Brilliant work
thanks
