I figure this one will help with the lacking German medical support that several other people mentioned in other posts. I just like motorcycles what can I say:D I saw this on that website Oz posted and finally figured out how to shrink the picture file to fit on the forum .

A motorcycle combination ambulance. What a great idea! I like it Sage, I like it alot.

The motorcycle ambulance is a nice idea.

Now, to give the Egyptian line a bit of coverage. I know someone metioned Cleopatra. How about a nice boat to go along for a trip down the Nile diorama.

And now for something you'll really like! (from Gordon N.)

This just in from Gordon Neilson:

Hullo Boys,
Gordon Neilson here (Andy's brother, the diorama maker). I've just seen Sage's suggestion for 2007.
There has to be a spy, mole... whatever working in K&C HQ! I can't believe it...the German motorcycle ambulance is one of the projects we're releasing in the first quarter of 2007!!!
We've been working on it for the last two months along with a big batch of other motorcycle-themed releases for early 2007.
Oh well, you can't keep everything a total secret for long on this Forum.
Congrats Sage...well anticipated.
All the best,
Gordon C.
P.S. Andy's been up in China all this past week sourcing new factories boy is he in for a surprise when he gets back on Monday.

That would go well with the ambulance halftrack that was previously suggested.

I can't wait until this comes out . I wish Gordon had told me about this one. I get the first one right that's how this works:D This will definitely be my new K&C favorite. Hey Shannon I want to pre order mine right now. Hope everything is going well in San Antonio Gordon:)

Ok, Sage, fork it over. We know you've got other inside information. Some gentlemen will be arriving at your house very shortly to start the debriefing process:cool:

1/30 airplanes? That would be a great well anticipated surprise.

Pierre.

Sage, If anybody shows up at your house in a black vehicle with K&C logos, don't open the door! They will do anything to find that mole!

Very well done Sage. Care to share your thoughts on the next powerball lottery drawing? :)

Andy,
O.K. here's my suggestion for 2007, how about an Afrika Korp tank crew and an Eight Army tank crew? With the new American armor an American Tank crew would be excellent as well.
Thanks,
Ray :D

Ray,

There is an American Tan Crew with the new Strictly Limited Sherman. I like your ideas for Afrika Corps and 8th Army Tank Crews.

Regards,

Louis

I wonder if the Desert theatre is on the drawing board for next year as Andy didn't make them for several years and I don't think they're huge sellers (although I have them all).

It would be great if at least one new set could made available each year for every KC line. That would help to keep interest up. I don't think the desert collectors have much to worry about. Us Eastern Front guys are in the cold though - so to speak.

My wish for 2007 would be new additions to the American Revolution Line. I would like to see Hessian or French troops and some US and British cavalry units.

King’s Man

As for the WWII series, I would like to see anything with horses (ambulance wagon, engineering tools wagon, cossacks cavalry, etc, etc). Also a VW type 87 for the AK serie.

Pierre.

I realise the German army was very much horse drawn during WWII but I'm not so sure about the commercial viability of such items. I'm sure more German cavalry would be widely appreciated. However I'm not sure that the average WWII collector would be interested in more horse drawn wagons etc.

I guess sales of the Honour Bound Kitchen will be a good barometer of such acceptance. What do you guys think of more horse drawn pieces for WWII collectors?

re: horse-drawn transport vs German cavalry. Here comes my Northwest Europe bias again - the German Kavalrie did not make much of an impact in NWE 1944-45, whereas a lot of secondary German formations were foot/horse propelled.

Of course I would like to see a re-do of the M24 Chaffee light tank. That is one of my favorites and the first pollystone one was "OK" but not nearly on par with curret offerings. Note to Andy: Before you get going on this one, I can help ID the WW2 features versus the post-war modifications that are on most models and the 21C version.

Further open note to Andy - Dragon Models is coming out with a new, REALLY NICE model of the US M2/M2A1 halftrack. If you want an interesting model to work from, this might be the one. For a US North Africa/Sicily model you can build a K&C version of an M2, or from the BoB there is a nice two photo set of an M2A1 from either side in a striped winter camouflage.
