Hello Tom, great pics! It was a pleasure going along with you to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Seeing the U-505 was a real treat. Glad you made it back down under safe and sound.

Moving on from Chicago, me and Duke traveled by air to Atlanta (an overnight stay), then in his ute to his hometown Thomasville, Georgia. After a few days there we did a trip to the Pensacola Naval Aviation Museum in Florida. Here are the pic's and there are plenty believe me!

This museum houses the finest collection of model US Aircraft Carriers that I have ever seen! They have models of America's first carrier right up to it's latest, the Gerald R Ford.
