You photos are outstanding! They make me appreciate the detail on my K&C figures even more. Thank you for taking the time to post all these pictures. Dan.
 
To ask the obvious question, what do people think of the use of the Dachau picture in a diorama?

Morning Napoleon1er;

Over the span of this thread, DM101 has consistently shown exquisite skills in photography. As the thread progressed he has incorporated a rather interesting aspect of showing the K&C figure(s) along with a actual scene where the pose of the figure matches (pretty close) the actual historical photo. All has been done with fun and interesting settings and always in "good taste".

In this case, despite the sensitive nature of the location, I believe that he has once again utilized his talents at photography and kept the political aspect pretty much in the background. Dachau, today, is a place of remembrance and reverence, visited by 10,000's of people. I believe that the photos are in keeping with that frame of reference, as is pictures of Gettysburg battle field, Normandy, Waterloo and countless place of honor.

hallo DM101, I love your pictures a lot. Both vehicles and figures are stunning, your skill is great. Really I collect all them and sometimes I like to set card toy soldiers like the old sheets when I was a boy. Post more pictures please, I am charmed by them. I like AWI and Napoleonic figures too! I absolutely cannot see how such a photograph honours anybody, it's totally ridiculous to think that it does. Maybe when K&C produce some 'nice' concentration camp victims you can use the background.

This subject area is very touchy and probably better left alone !

Except for the fact that Dachau is absolutely NOT a `place of honor'
