Yesterday afternoon I received four WB #31138 "3-inch Ordnance Rifles" which I used to replace four bronze 12-pounder Napoleon guns. I now have a full 6-gun Federal battery of 3-inch ordnance rifles. I will be adding to this battery as soon as the new artillery limbers and extra crew figures become available. Below are some "quick" pics of my guns . . . . not the best photography I have ever done but it still gives the viewer a good peek at the "Queen of the Battlefield" at my house . . . .

As always, I love your pictures!

Just one note: artillery has always been the "King of Battle," and in the last century, infantry has taken on the name "Queen of Battle."

Nice collection Mike. I'm looking fwd to the add'l artillery figs as well. Chris

Thanks Chris . . . . Looks like we are finally going to get the limbers we have been wishing for as well as new crew poses to fill out our gun crews . . .

Mike...that's quite an artillery crew you have there...very nice!

Thanks Mike . . . . With the addition of the soon to be released limbers and the new artillery crew poses it will be easy to display a gun and limber with a full 8-man crew . . . .

You have a very nice collection Enrico and your selection in figures is very much the same as mine. Many of the figures you have, I also have in my collection. Thank you for sharing these photos with me and with the others on this forum. I see that you are from Milano. My wife and I are just now in the planning stages for a trip to Italy in 2018. Flying into Milan, then to Florence for three days, and then to Venice and a 7-day cruise on the Po River . . . looking forward to it. All the very best . . .

Thanks a lot, Mike.
I’m glad to known about your trip to Italia. It's a good idea!!! Maybe, you and your wife could drop by a little toast. I’d love to take you on a tour of my home and show you my toy soldiers collection. You’re welcome here. Keep in touch, mate!

Enrico :)

Enjoying my ACW collection this morning after spending so much time these past months concentrating on my Vikings, Clash of Empires, WWI, WWII, and Wars of the Roses ranges . . . .

Hi Mike,

I've appreciated so much your Acw collection. I feel like a novice but... I'm going to grow! There is nothing better than learning from your pictures.

Best regards

Enrico :)
