another one...sorry...but the scenes have some of the Barbarians doing overtime as they only released 3 Barbarians to the 6 Romans...I took a close up of the General's shield...as I thought it was pretty cool...

just a couple more...I put one of the older Conte Rome sets in here...the set is "Behold The Power of Rome"...it's a really old set...the Barbarian with the Roman soldiers head on a spear...but I think it goes absolutely perfect with his new Roman Winter series sets...

I put them all together for one small skirmish...this is my first real attempt at collecting Conte figures...I love these...well sculpted...well painted...sturdy and weighty...very nice...I'm anxious for the second wave which should be out soon!

You've done it once again my friend creating another of you very creative dioramas to feature your figures at play and again nicely staged and photograph bringing your Conte figures to life..........PapaZ{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

AWESOME as per usual mate, what do you use for snow, having never seen it im not sure what would make " Good " snow..................^&grin

thank you Marcus, Joe, Walt, Titus, Wayne and Charlie...

I appreciate the compliments...

to answer the questions about the snow...

I used Woodland Scenics "Soft Flake Snow"...

it's a great product and Treefrog has it in inventory...

Wayne...
it's a really good product...
you can take a dry paintbrush...
and shape it over their bases and around their feet for a really realistic look...

I dug out this old set of Conte Barbarians...

"Point Well Taken"...

and put them with one of his new Winter Game's Romans...

it's amazing how well they all go together...

I asked Richard when these were produced...and off the top of his head...he said around 2002 or 2003...but would have to check...

these Barbarians must have been pretty ahead of their time as they are almost 10 years old now and still look so nice with comparable current sculpts...

with their "winter clothes"...they seem a perfect match with his new series...

I'm glad I bought this old set as it will add to my forces...

Looks good Mike,I like that Rocky formation in the background. The Roman on horse looks like Steven Boyd from the movie "Fall of the Roman Empire" from back in the 60's.

okay...after talking to you...I looked him up....you're right...there is a resemblence...

Great scenes Mike, fighting in the pass. Love the action and the scenics. Well done. Chris
