Springfield '03, Mauser, Enfield, Browning, Colt, Armalite, Eagle, Hi-Power, Winchester, Kalishnikov, all great last names or businesses!

Mauser-is that the 98K that you have? I'm looking for one, but I think I'll have to settle for a license-built copy.

Brad,
No, mine is a sporterized 7mm of WWI vintage, bought in your neck of the woods back in the 80's along with the MkIV Enfield.

Wow, way too neat!

No, just teasing! ;)

Are the popsicle sticks paint chips or samples of some kind?

Very nice and organised work station Randy. Some lovely looking figures on it also and what a collection of books !!!!!!!:eek::eek:

Randy,
Too orderly... It's maddening! You need some children, pets, debris, explosions, excrement-flinging monkeys, something to desterilize the place:D
Seriously, I thing we all strive for your place of calm and reflection:)

Those are stirring sticks--one for each paint that I use with the brand and color on the stick.

I like the bookshelves, I'm building something similar for my living room.

2 shots of the cabinet and my workstation where I post from in my 2nd floor study. Most of the soldiers have appeared in my dioramas. Here they are just lined up waiting for a "casting call."

Love the Library! I love books and usualy have several going at the same time. There is something about holding a book and turning pages. Nice display cases too! Bowdoin College home of my favoorite Union hero Joshua Chamerlin:)

Randy,

I just had a similar library installed in my home's first floor (I chose a dark reddish wood rather than white, but have very similar pillasters and moldings). I had a window seat built in with a nice view of the duck pond bordering on my driveway.

It will (hopefully) be unveilled for the Symposium. Once the final touches to the work are completed, and my wife loads up the shelves, I will take and post some photos.

Sadly, no toy soldiers are allowed outside of the Museum (my wife lets me get away with a lot, but not taking over the rest of the house, the entire 3rd floor is all I get).
