N.F.L. 24-25 Season (1 Viewer)

Sounds like the Rams are in your head George. The Rams are playing great football. The best in the league. Stafford is having an MVP season. The entire team has a swagger. Injuries can change that but I like what I'm seeing. Home field against Philly or Seattle in the playoffs would be a big deal. The Rams can beat those teams in LA. Playing in Philly in December or January is tough. If KC gets into the playoffs, watch out. They might run the AFC. Buffalo can do the same. No expectations for those teams means no monkey on their back. They are playing with house money.
The Rams are in my head?

Why?

2-0 vs them in the Super Bowl.

They are far from in my head.

As in very.

Doug,
honestly your team is playing great football, I can see why they are fun to watch, it is a good product and they are playing to their level of expectations. Just wish the rest of the league would join in! IN all seriousness, I do think the Bills and Chiefs are still dangerous due to their talent, but so again as I said are the Steelers on paper. Right now, those 3 teams are not playing to their ability and I am having a hard time faulting the coaching. I think in these 3 cases, you have a lot of ego that thought they would just show up and win and they are not executing game plans or assignments. It is just bad fundamental football they are playing. It is allowing teams that are mediocre in talent and fundamentals to win games and really muck up the playoff race.

George - your Patriots are playing good fundamental football, that is why they are winning and if they continue to do so, they certainly have a good shot of a run too.

The Patriots are playing very good fundamental football for sure, but the injuries are piling up.

Doug is right though; the Chefs and Bills have "zero expectations"..............good Lord.

Chefs fans expect trips to the Super Bowl and Bills fans thought their championship window was wide open after Brady left, they haven't gotten to a Super Bowl in that 5 year window.

Playoff experience is so overrated; it's whoever is hot at the end of the season, experience has next to nothing to do with it.

Rams fans warming up for their victory dance once they demolish the tomato can Panthers on Sunday, they'll keep dancing next week vs another tomato can, the Cardinals, but then gee, two tough games, Lions and Seachickens, then back to tomato cans, Falcons and Cardinals again.

Must be nice to play the Cardinals twice a year, complete cannon fodder.

The NFL standings are based on wins and losses.

I am not sure most of their fans can do simple math but it is ok to use a calculator if needed.

This is not college football where any number of meaningless factors decide who makes the playoffs.

In the NFL incontrovertible numbers decide things, emotion and reputation are not part of the equation.

One other comment on the NFL this year. I usually do Draftkings in a weekly contest with a group of friends. The apathy of participation this year has caused us to disband (literally there are 12 of us, so you would think it would have survived). NOPE. Another point about the product being so bad, I couldn't be bothered or excited to field a team each week. I don't know what it is this season, just can't get excited about it. I watch it but in small doses.
