I'm sure about the authenticity of the colouring for this guy, if he's supposed to be a gunner or the Foot Artillery of the Guard !
What I see wrong is:
1. white waistcoat - should be blue
2. cream trousers - should be blue
3. white plume - should be red
4. grey greatcoat - should be blue
Anyone else agree???
John
thanks Jeff I was sort on the right track I looked at K & C UK but they had no reference to it or any other club figures, but now I know its origin regards dave

In addition then if we are picking holes - shouldn't the Foot Artillery of the Guard be wearing black gaiters not white? If so, and apologies in advance if I am wrong, then that makes almost every version currently made by all manufacturers incorrect.....?? Kiwi
Hey - If anyone wants to SELL their mispainted K&C UK Club Figures - PLEASE LET ME KNOW !
I have a large French Army that will accept them into our ranks - no problem !
Kiwi,
the Guard Artillery had both black and white gaiters in thier kit.
The white was for summer parade uniform, and the black for winter and muddy conditions.
All of the Guards I have painted I done in white, as I think it looks so much smarter, but I can see the reason for both, being an ex-gunner and working on guns in the bush.
Same goes for Grenadiers of the Guard with both black and white gaiters.
