wonder if anyone knows of any Russian tin soldier painters that would be producing "retreat from Russia" figure which would be complimentary in size to First Legion's sets on same subject?
I haven't seen any sign by Matt of First Legion that there will be other figures to add to his sets
thanks

Hi Harvey,
Off the top of my head I'm not coming up w/ any Russian figures for complementary FL retreat from Russian figures use. I'm sure there are some out there though. However, here is nice Chinese figure that is the same scale as FL. The seller sent me photos in the past illustrating this congruence.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/60mm-Napol...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649

I think this same seller has another freezing, retreating soldier as well.

I hope this helps.

many thanks, I have been looking for that sellers figures every which way
they fit in very well with the first legion figures
I liked them so much and they added a certain sense of despair that I bought them again(there are two of them)

These 2 figures are copies of a Pegaso kit that also had Napoleon on his horse. Yes they do look good, and should match. http://www.pegasomodels.com/productdetails_en.asp?id=255#

Joe
Many thanks
Figure of napoleon
on horse with foot soldiers is terrific but I can't figure out how you would order from this dealer
If you have any ideas on contacting this dealer would appreciate it
Harvey

Harvey, unless I'm mistaken, you'd only receive the unpainted kit. Someone would still have to paint it for you.

Maybe Joe or John can suggest someone. John (Obee) is a heck of a painter. Maybe he could do it.

many thanks to Joe,Mirov and Brad
will pursue asking joe about painting pegasus figure
referred to figure is Attica Miniatures and I will touch base with Ivan
He has a museum quality piece which is beyond my budget
Mirov, I am not sure how to deal with your reference
I thank everybody for their help and reinforces my positive feelings about our Toy Soldier Forum

Harvey,

I’ve dealt with Ivan on a couple of pieces. He’s very good to deal with. Quick communication.

Andrea has a depot in the USA: https://www.andreadepotusa.com/ I ordered a few retired Figure International Magazines from them. Got them but they are pretty slow on the customer support side of things...

Grognard
thanks
called their depot, and talked to nice salesperson
ordered one soldier painted. told it would take 45 days
I was told they are 1/30 which are compatible with 54mm
they had a nice selection, fingers crossed and will see what happens

You are welcome. Please post a pic of it when you get it!

Here is an old Aeroart Nap I bought a good few years back. a mounted dragoon retreating back from Moscow. it is a lovely figure. it was quite expensive but so glad I bought it.There is actually one for sale on the American Ebay, which is nothing to do with me incidentally.
