Yes, Those are off the Perry website.Yes, 28mm Waterloo. Now , what to do with my 54mm Waterloo?
Now theres a ton of lead! Not going anywhere but the 28mm will be better suited for wargames.

Sorry for the delay in replying but I've just been looking at their website, they do 40mm Napoleonic Peninsular War Range 1807-1814. Wow!

How many 54mm do you have?

I'm not even sure. Maybe 400 British And Allied Infantry, 8-9 guns, 100 cav?

150 Prussians, 3 cannons, 24 cav.

French, ALOT more.400 line, 300+ Guard Infantry, At least a dozen guns and crews, 200 Cavalry.

Austrians, Russians too.
Sick aint it?

That isn't sick...thats wonderful!! I'm the colour of the Incredible Hulk just looking at your pics.

If you go down the 28mm route thats about 9500 figures! one heck of a lot of painting.

I collect and paint the Perry Napoleonics and Front Rank. Have you ever checked out Front Rank? They're more like 30mm and just about all of the nations are represented.

Sorry, Michael, I won't be parting with the 54mm, I still have this fantasy of a toy soldier Museum. Can't get anymore Mulberry out of our friend ?Me either!

Ron, If I was forced to stick with one and only one period to collect it would be Napoleonics. I favor the Grande Armee.

I don't think I can actually paint 10,000 figures anymore, I'll have to consign most of it out. Will take a few years at least. But I do like the Grand Manner look of massed formations for wargames and smaller figures are the only way.Even 28mm is too big really.

I'll continue with 54mm as well and that is sick but really fun!

JRSTEEL, Yes, I have been looking at them on their website and a friend has left about 1,000 French castings here for me to examine. He's enabling my insanities. Almost all Foundry but there are some very nice French Light Infantry by Front Rank in there. I prefer the Front ranks size over Foundry.
I ordered my 1st Batch of Perry today as samples. I take it since you collect and paint both they are reasonably compatible?Thats what I am counting on.
Also was looking over Calpe lists of Prussians. Amazing variety .

Front Rank and Perry are reasonably compatible. Front Rank are definitely chunkier though. They have great faces too, especially the Old Guard. Perry are a little smaller but more anatomically correct and the sculpting is more lifelike.

Jeff, Those 40mm troops are amzing as well. Theres another company called Sash and Sabre I think in Virginia that has LOTS of 40mm ranges including Napoleonics.
