NCAA mens basketball tournament (1 Viewer)

Should be a good final 4. Only one #1 seed made it in. Couple of #4's and whatever WSU is. Louisville looks good to me but I won't be bent if the Orangemen win it. That was a gruesome injury. Reminded me of the Joe Theisman injury many moons ago. -- Al

Agreed; that was just the start of things for Tyree, he's gone to what, 4 or 5 pro bowls since that catch, putting up first ballot HOF numbers in the process.

I thought when the Giants signed him to a brand new 6 year 80 million dollar contract right after the Super Bowl they were crazy, but I guess I was wrong as he's put up incredible numbers since then..................................................................

I actually saw him the other day; he was wearing a paper hat and asked me "Do you want fries with that?"

Mario Manningham’s side-line grab in the final drive of Super Bowl XLVI was pretty epic too.

He did the same thing to us in the semi-finals of the Ohio High School Football Playoff in 2002. We (Massillon Washington) were ahead in the fourth quarter and had them (Warren Harding) fourth and long. We called a blitz, the QB scrambled and found Manningham who made the catch between two of our guys for a first down. They eventually went on to score sending the game into overtime and ended up pulling it out by one point.

So, seeing him do the same thing against one of the best teams in the NFL made me feel a little bit better about that loss in high school.

Then the Giants traded him to the 49ers. This seems to be a recurring organizational trend.

Make great catch to win Super Bowl = Get traded or cut next season

What a wonderful performance incentive for NY Giants WR’s. (sarcasm)

:)

Good to see Rutgers did the right thing - albeit when they no longer had a choice - and fired Mike Rice. The guy looked unhinged hitting and cursing his players. Absolutely inexcusable to behave like that. He should be banned from coaching at any level.

About 15 minutes to tip off, WSU vs Louisville. All I can say is "GO DIRTBAGS!". ^&grin -- Al

Too bad that the Shockers couldn't hold that 2nd half lead. They should have beat the Cards. But at least a #1 seed makes the final. -- Al

Cards pulled it out with Defense. That's been their key all season. It was a mistake to start with the zone but Pitino was worried about foul trouble for the guards with Ware out. Bench play was critical. GO CARDS!!! ^&grin Chris

OBTW, Lady Cards (can I say that these days?) are in the Championship game to go with the men's team. Came back from down by 12 in second half, like the men. Wonder when was the last time both men's and women's teams were in the championship games at the same time. GO CARDS x 2!!! Chris

Congrats to both Louisville teams. Pretty cool. Women's team was down 10 at the half. Heck of a comeback. Tomorrow's game should be a good one to watch for you, Chris. Good luck. -- Al

Louisville is halfway to the double-crown. It was a very entertaining game. Really enjoyed the momentum swings in the 1st half and the all-out fight that was the 2nd half. Congrats to the Cards and the bluegrass state of Kentucky. -- Al

Thanks AL, nice to have back to back championships in the state. It was a great game and close to the end. No one in the media gives Louisville much of a chance tonight. We have a local girl, Slaughter, from our county on the team. She made the six 3s in the semi-final game.

Pe'shon Howard transferring from MD for his senior season. This is great news! Never thought he did a good job. To be replaced by Seth Allen at point. Allen not a true PG but will be a much better option imo. Chris
