Lovely diorama of an interesting weapon and if watching one of the documentaries on Youtube you get an idea of the terror they will have instilled by the screaming sound they produced on launch. Yep you'd not want to be on the receiving end of one or a battery of those ! :salute::

A good scene Duke. Love the trees in the background that completes the scene.

Cheers,
Grey

Steve, I've seen similar docs, they look scary enough on the sending end, must have been terrifying to have them incoming {sm2}

One of their shortcomings was the smoke trail from the rockets which highlighted the firing positions exactly, which meant only a couple of minutes before they in turn would be subject to incoming. To avert this, there would be a quick pack up and a new location after a very few firings. Although not the best in directional shots, they were like a shotgun, peppering an area. A battery of these would deliver a horrifying wall of fire power. Robin.

Excellent photo, Duke! I always enjoy how you do your terrain as it always looks realistic 😎
