Was browsing the Conte collections yesterday. 2 questions keep going through my head:

1. Size wise, Conte match Britains perfectly?
2. The Conte website is the only place to buy them? Couldn't find them on other websites. Prices for these almost double to get them shipped to Europe.

Sizewise, I am not sure, they might be a little bigger than Britains ACW figures are, maybe someone who collects both can assist you.

Nick from Crown Miniatures and Matt from The Hobby Bunker also carry Conte products and I am sure either would be glad to ship to Europe.

I saw the 5th New York figures at the Gettysburg show on Nicks table and they look very good to me, a very good subject as they fought well at the Seven Days Battles, Second Bull Run and Antietam among other battles, good subject matter for sure..............

Conte go well in scale with Britains. The faces on Conte are generally more lifelike and real looking. The Conte bases are sometimes larger and show more detail but this also seems minor to me.
Britains bases seem to be getting smaller and thinner which must be a cost control decision.
I know Charlie Browns, Maison Military, Saimex and some others were on European dealer list and I've seen an Australian dealer here on the forum who sells them. Sorry i don't have their address

I know Charlie Browns, Maison Military, Saimex
Those names were all I needed, thanks a lot! Specially Maison Military looks like a great site!

Thing is, ofcourse I can order from USA but the shipping costs are sometimes as high as the product itself. That's why I'm always looking for europe based webshops. There's not many but slowly I'm finding more, have a nice little bunch of url's now though :)

Not sure if you attend any of the London shows, but we can hand carry from the USA any sets that interest you.

Thanks,
