LL don't do canopies...yet...but I'm working on it :wink2:, I have one of my own custom made jobs. I can't find your original Ambulance thread but did you make the canopy yourself, that style is just what I need to finish mine off. The early Trophy Ambulances came with canvas tops but Len changed to resin during later production, I much prefer the canvas

Glad you liked the horses :salute:: I think Mike has done a great job with them

Hi Martyn - No, I didn't make the canopy myself, I got it from our old chum Giles at Dorset Soldiers - when I got my spare parts to make up the Britains lookalike Ambulance. He might be persuaded to part with some - if you ask nicely. I think that someone locally with a sewing machine runs them up for him. Of course, you will need to make up some supports out of wire for them - I actually used Round Brass Rod (available in most good hobby shops), which you cut and fit to the size you need and bend to shape. jb

Seems Santa and his helper from across the pond surely made for a Merry Christmas Buster. The UKReb not only has great taste when it comes to toy soldiers but also his friends. When I purchased my Ambulances I ordered one set of standing horses, I decided to order another set and here is the result

To add variety to the two Ambulances that I had purchased from Mike in June I asked him to make me two pairs of walking horses, along with a Driver and his mate "riding shotgun", here is the result.

I missed them too Buster! No need for a sun canopy there then? - Mind you - I only have the one, you know, no second Ambulance for me - and I have the top up. Are you expecting casualties soon M?

Nice idea to have a change of horses available - to suit the situation. Nice jobs too - love the horses stretching forward to get a rub! Very nice touch that. jb
