New AZW items (2 Viewers)

Received it today! Very nice albeit a lot lighter that the original release (and the storehouse) Saves postage costs though :)

Scott,

How does it compare to the old hospital. I have the old one and I am not sure I want to pick up the new one. As I am still picking up older sets, but I am almost caught up.

Brian

With the exception of the burnt out roof it is exactly the same Brian. Just quite a bit lighter in weight. I must also add that the 2 front windows (in the stonework) are filled in and painted black (unlike the first one).

Seems most new Zulu due around now, have been pushed on to June at the moment! So earliest in store and to us July. Pity Britain's is still having production issues it seems. Like to think I am regularly channeling money their way, but it seems all my money is going to other makers and rarely them, not good. Robin.

I had a word with my mate Lynn at MKL on Friday hoping the April releases were on their way but nothing was due in the next week or so. As soon as I hear anything I shall post an update

Cheers

Martyn:)

Hi Guys - production running along nicely, but there is a catch, we have had a number of Civil War sites wake up to the fact that the 150th Anniversary only comes around, well, every 150 years, so I have had to put on a lot more Civil War re-runs then I had at first anticipated. This sadly has pushed some other lines back a month or two. But rest assured they are coming, it's just, well, like I said, the 150th only comes along every...expecting somewhere between 150K-250K of folks in Gettysburg week of anniversary, we will be there at 3-4 locations. Next year things will settle down regarding giving equal billing to all ranges, this, as I have said before, is the year of the Civil War. And a great opportunity to find new collectors, and new collectors means more sales, more interest and ultimately more new figures for all of us.

Sorry to see your money going elsewhere Robin. Hope you come back, some cracking Zulu items in the June catalog.

Richard

Thanks Richard, no problems, I am aware of your love for all things Civil War. Very important period coming up for this era and of course Britain's. Never leaving Britain's, just eager to spend money with your company and to ensure you are getting your fair share. With Durbar gone, I am down to Zulu & Nile and right at the moment with the release dates extended, I do not have to budget for Britain's, so I am feeding my addiction elsewhere. All the best for the coming days.{sm4}, Robin.

Glad you got the bridge, was considering myself if you had not taken up the option. Looking forward to seeing your photos.{sm4}, Robin.

Agree wholeheartedly - I was in my local shop the other day and saw a new collector make three trips to his car carrying thousands of dollars worth of purchases across two ranges and two manufacturers - one of which was WB AZW. I collect both ranges that this new collector swept up almost in their entirety, and the whole time I was aware that such a development was good for the hobby, the two manufacturers, the shop owner, but mainly, I was conscious that it was good for me.

I was there as well and it was all good apart from the fact the new collector didn't buy one of my buildings as he spent all of his money on WB figures.....{sm3}:wink2::)
Wayne.
