I see on TSSD that Barzso has some Rome themed figures coming. Does anyone know of Ron's plans this year?

I see on TSSD that Barzso has some Rome themed figures coming. Does anyone know of Ron's plans this year?

Plans are to have sections of a Roman colosseum/stadium.. There is a curved section and a straight. Straight section is approximately 14.5" long X 7.75" inches tall (seating section angles up). Each curve section is 1/8 of a circle with approx. 15" inside radius and an outside radius of approx. 22.5".

Sections will be sold individually.. you can mix and match.. 8 curved sections = a colosseum.. use curves and straight sections to create your own Circus Maximus style race track. if you're low on space just get a few sections of half of a circus track or colosseum.. or just one section!

A 3rd section was planned, but won't be ready for OTSN... If all goes well, maybe later in the year.

Figures PLANNED are a few different poses of seated Roman spectators and perhaps a couple of gladiators.. I think these figures will be around 54 - 60 mm.

That's all the info I have at present.

Thx

Jim

I think my display cabinets could really use something different like this!

Jim, gladiators sounds great. can't wait to see this set.

Walt

Walt,

Just to clarify.. there isn't a playset per se... Each of the 2 stadium sections will be sold separately - no requirement to purchase an entire arena or stadium... spectators will be sold in bagged sets - I don't know how many poses or number of figures will be included in each bag. Not sure how the gladiators will be handled yet....

That's about all I know right now.

Thx,

Jim

Here are a couple of photos of Barzso's new Roman stuff... You can purchase as few as 1 piece or as many as you want to create a small display up to a large Hippodrome or full Colosseum. There are 2 new gladiators (bears were for display purposes only) and 6 new spectators... I hope to have everything posted to Barzso's website in a few days...

Thx,

Jim
