:( Hello Guy's! Just got my NEW K & C BBA015-Sherman Tank, and was Dissapointed, because I have Measured it against K & C Earlier Sherman's, and it is Smaller in Height-1-Quarter Inch, And Shorter in HULL Length, by a Full Inch, and 1/25! Also the Turret isShorter, and Off by 3/4 of an Inch? And the NEW Figure's is Smaller, and Not ALL, 1/30th Scale Size? "What's going ON"?

I think the BBA 15 Sherman was based on the M4A1 Short Wheel Base Compact model, designed to take in to account the shortage of raw materials in the closing months of the war. ;)

Other than that Mrs Lincoln, how was the play...............:D

I have long suspected that there is no consistent scale lately with K/C and that in each model now being produced, that there are noticable size differences between old and new models. Maybe some might think that is notpicking, but when all models are not size reletive to each other, that makes them no better than the toy lines..........except for expense...Michael

I recall Andy C saying that the WWII range will remain at 1/30 but other ranges may be issued in 1/32 from time to time.

Oz,

Scuse my ignorance but I can't help noticing the new emblem on your postings - Southern Cross?

Hi Panda, it's commonly called the "Eureka Flag" http://www.cultureandrecreation.gov.au/articles/eurekastockade/

Australia's military diggers inherited the "digger" name from Australia's early mining history especially the Eureka Rebellion that was the first and last time Australians took up arms against other Australians.

Oz

I was going to ask about the flag as well and I read your link - very interesting. Where in Australia is the dig sites and the site of the rebellion?

I would love to hear Gary's opinion on this. I'm just wondering if the original Easy Eight (DD 27) was different than this one or even if they're the same whether the latest K & C version is the more accurate one.

It seems that EACH K&C Sherman has a size variance with the others. For K&C I give Andy some slack and go with the appearance. Except for the egregious error of the ads referring to it as an "M4A3" the tank modeled is one of the nicest that Andy has done. I'll admit that all my tanks are still in boxes (waiting for better display cases) so I haven't had them out together for a comparison.
