new dispatches (1 Viewer)

Re: finally something Dutch

AWESOM, and a dream come trough! However did not see this coming! This will however be a attack on my x-masa bonus.

But what a treat for a dutchman. K&c could not do better and now I have some troops to chase my Scotish greys.

Are the dotts on the Scotish officers horse not enirely coherent with the 'older' horsses?

Surf's Up Boys .... lancers, Red lancers & plenti of them. Andy has responded to our earlier observations, and the new figures come with slight variances in poses, perfect for "army building".

OD

This sounds like a First Legion recommendation for more realistic Napoleonic troops display.

The Komet and Luftwaffe figures are the best things in a long while. Well done.

Overall good dispatches. The komet is really cool and in my opinion fairly priced. Its cool to see k&c go into the air force. I was happy to see AK16 retired. I bought that set 5 years ago and I'm guessing it might of came out summer of '02 ( I'm not sure because I was not in the hobby at the time) I think for a set to be out for 5 years and not be retired is too long for a set to be on the primary market. After all the more sets out there the lesser the value.

Komet indeed seems fairly priced. Best wishes with this series

OMG I love those sets. Very nice Andy. I really do like these. Especially the price for the Komet. Keep up the good work Andy.

Great releases again Andy! I guess all the Napoleonic enthusiasts will be happy now, they got their lancers. I sure hope the rumors for next year are true and that more war between the states is on the way.

With the Komet being an SL set with a production run of 750, whats the predictions to how many days before we hear there all are preordered and accounted for, none are available?
Then let the MOANING begin!!!:cool::eek:;)

I also agree that these are great dispatches! The air force figures and Komet are great. Hopefully, it means more polystone Warbirds in the future!

I'm crossing my fingers on this as well...

I have never seen a ME-163 painted this way

The color scheme shown looks quite similar to the ones shown in "Warplanes of the Luftwaffe: Combat Aircraft of Hitler's Luftwaffe 1939-1945" by David Donald and I know Andy has it since he was the one who recommended it to me.

I am very happy with this months dispatches, one thing I really like is the all inclusiveness of adding single figures to some neglected lines ie: highlander and Scott grey. I have lobbied for this appoach for a long time as it "quenches the appetite" without having to commit to 300.00 or 400.00 in a single month. imagine a month where 12 or so lines were covered with a single set from each?!?

To begin with, tail # 191 329 is called yellow 7 not yellow 14 . The camo job on the K&C is wrong

Andy please get this Me-163 right, registration # 191 329 was not yellow 14 and is didn't belong to the 1./jG 400 , with the emblem " Wie ein Floh - aber oho ! " ( The Rocket-Propelled Flea ) ;)

If you want to use this unit emblem, than you can't have the Reg. # 191 329 and that camo scheme  ;)

Brad,

I'm not familar with the book you quote, and thank you for that ref.

But I do have the original picture of Reg. # 191 329 , from the book " Me-163 Rocket Interceptor Vol. 2 " by Stephen Ransom and I know Mr. Ransom, because I have corrected some of his works.

The Me-163 in question is on page 307 of this book.

Still nothing for AWI yet :(, will have to wait patiently for next dispatches...!
