New Foot Guard (1 Viewer)

Here is the next sculpt of a private of a centre company depicting when the Guards charged at The battle of Talavera and routed the French but kept charging and ran into difficulties when they ran into the French reserves and were subsequently charged by 2 squadrons of dragoons. They rallied around the colours and eventually retired in good order.

Can these be ordered through George or just on your website? If through you, what’s the web address?

Holy cow these are brilliant! Those flags! Thank you for the photos and congratulations on your new releases! They are wonderful art.

This line is only available through my web site. they take so long to paint that there isn't enough of them painted to supply George. it took 4 months to paint these 5 standard bearers and a couple of other figures. It is just not practical.

My web site is centuriontoysoldiers.co.uk

they will be shipping from Russia to me on Monday.

Regards Iwan

Wow is all I can say, just stunning to say the least.

Best of luck with these Iwan, I wish you all the best in your sales.

Napoleonics really are spectacular when painted right.

here is the next figure in the line the standard bearer for the 3rd foot guards for the battle of Talavera 1809 and Waterloo 1815

Hi,
Lovely painting, however the Kings colour figure can't be used at Talavera unless the colour bearer was psychic and had the battle honour put on the colour the day before!

Hello Iwan,

Quick question: are the flags removable (thus making them less likely to incur damage in shipment). It looks like they are.
Once again beautiful figures- bravo!

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. The majors colour is for the Battle of Talavera 1809 and the company colour is for Waterloo 1815. Why would I do a flag with battle honours on years before the battles had even been fought!!!^&confuse

Great looking soldiers but the price makes the acquisition impossible.
54mm soldier should not cost so much.

Love the patches and stitching on this figure. I think these little details help to bring this figure to life.
