Andy has mentioned that there is a chance later this year for some French Napoleonic soldiers in firing positions. Has anyone heard if these are going to be Grenadiers, Voltigeur or Chasseur?

Thanks,
Old Guard

Old Guard,
Why not the bulk of the infantry? The common "conscripts"? Just ordinary, fighting soldiers with brown, selfmade trousers as usual in Spain and covered shako's? Torn clothes, dirty faces etc...
We will wait and see...
Eddy:)

Andy did not specify the type. In his August 4, 2006 posting, Andy wrote, "There’s also a whole big bundle of French Infantry in action I hope to release at the same time.":)

How about a bunch of Napoleons men in their underware fleeing from camp as the British cut them down.....:)
Torn of course and dirty faces. On a serious note...perhaps it will be more French troops to add to the Greys scene. Speaking of the Greys I get my last three on Friday as well as the French calvary sitting around the table. Has anyone got the French Calvery sitting yet...if so are they worth the money?

The cavalry sitting around the table are real nice and I like them a lot but every time I see them and the extras from the farm house I can see where andy stole the idea from. They are a rip off of an older andrea set. I still love them and i,m glad he did them but judge for yourselfs, I,ll post a picture and just think of andys little wheel barrow and grinding stone and even the figures and you,ll see just what i,m talking about.

I received my French Calvery around the table today and they are very nice...BUT.....the figure with the dog wouldn't fit very well on the chair...Did anyone else have a problem like this?

Cheers

Wellington when I got mine I discovered his scabbard was longer than his feet which didn't allow him to sit evenly onto the seat. I moved him out to the end of my self and let it hang over which allows him to sit properly. I tried raising the chair but then his feet don't touch the ground. Although I really like this set I don't think it was properly scaled to the table and chair set. I thought about trying to bend it but had second thoughts.

OH Huhhh, but of course. The cavalry francais is se magnifique. OK really bad accent. It is really neat. It has an honored space in my cabinet. No problems with any figures sitting on chairs though they do seem to be somewhat specific on seating. I would refer to the pictures.

Fishead where oh where can I find some serving *****es?

The ducks and chickens are from Tamiya.

I noticed that Tamiya set at my local hobby shop recently. It had ducks, chickens, a dog and pigs etc. All were prepainted, and although in 1/35 scale the animals would suit most dios.
