Recieved this today the Accessories set sounds good.

Dear All

I am pleased to announce that the retail price for Luft001 FW190 will be £90 plus VAT in the UK and $155 for the rest of the world. The aeroplane has now gone to production and should be ready at the end of July. There will be 2 versions available as follows:

Luft001A – European Theatre version as flown by Armin Faber in 1942. Faber was the unlucky German pilot who made the mistake of landing his FW190-A3 at Pembrey airfield in Wales in June 1942. The capture of the aircraft provided a gold mine of information for the British forces who had even been contemplating a Commando raid into France to try and bring back one of these aeroplanes. Fortunately Faber saved the British the trouble and the rest as we say is history. This is a very historic aircraft and as such will fit into any airfield diorama – be it German or British. Limited to 200 of this version worldwide: at these numbers and this price they are bound to sell out fast so pre-orders being taken now!

Luft001B is a tropical version ‘White 6’ of our FW190 as she would have appeared in the Mediterranean theatre of operations. Limited to 100 sets worldwide this version is also bound to be very popular with collectors.

The above photos are of pre-production samples only and there will be some small improvements before the finished product is launched, complete studio photos will be published shortly.

At the same time as the release of the above we will be releasing 3 Luftwaffe figures (Luft002, Luft003 and Luft004) in 2 versions suitable to compliment both versions of our new aircraft.

Last but not release we will also release our field workshop set (ACC Pack001) which will comprise a table (picture attached) a mobile generator, acetylene tanks and trailer plus an oil drum with pump. Designed to go with an army workshop or airfield maintenance set this set will bring any diorama to life be it Allied or Axis.

kind regards

Thomas Gunn

Any news on when FW190 will be landing:D
Scott

Yes - I have been told that end of August we start shipping the tropical version (which has now sold out) with the Armin Faber version following a couple of weeks later, this also now virtually sold out here.
Apparently the decals caused a little production delay but its now been overcome and we can start planning the next aircraft!

Yes Brett the advise provided by Tom was I little wrong  before he left for Hong Kong last week as per my previous posting.

I am sure he will make announcement shortly about the FW190 release now that he is back from HK with an update.

Andrew

Wayne...

Probably right but, I am sure it will be worth the wait

Having seen the quality of the unpainted sculpt of the para I would say that they will be very popular as IMO if that figure is to go by the bar again has been raised in our hobby

When are the FW190 s being released are there big problems with the aircraft:eek: These planes look excellent

Scott,

Last advise from Tom on 18 Sept 2010 via a newsletter was:

So what’s new? Well 2 main questions seem to be on everybody’s lips! Firstly when is the FW190 arriving and the other is when are the British Paratroops arriving? Well the FW190 is all made but we just need decals to finish it off – seems like these have been taking forever to get here but it looks like the aircraft will hopefully now be ready by end of September. Apologies for the delay but I would rather the finished product came out as good as it could possibly be and sometimes you get the odd hiccup! As for our British Paratroops; no delays there as they are now all made and just waiting to get on board a ship from HK to UK. Once again that means I should be able to release photos in about 2 weeks time so watch this space.

Hope this helps.

Andrew

Thanks Andrew
As i said these look excellent cant wait to get them:cool::cool:
Regards Scott
