Re: NEW Fw-190 myth or reality?

Pictures of the FW190 going on our website today in the workshop section (www.tomgunn.co.uk) and have been emailed to Gunn club members! Enjoy as she is a real beauty!

Kind Regards Tom
It looks promising but what model is it supposed to be? Some of the photo links seem broken and do not enlarge and I couldn't really see the top of the nose detail.:)

They all work for me.

It looks very nice, but is it going to have a clear canopy and interior cockpit detail? If so, I might get one.:)

Tom - this is shaping up to be a great looking model!

Are we going to see both a winter and summer version?:D

The figures also look very interesting, but I cannot get that link to enlarge. One pilot appears to be demonstrating his manouvers to the others...what a great idea capture.

Regards,
Mike

Love the "Foggy Old England" camo! She would be impossible to spot:eek:
Seriously, that is one hot looking plane.

Here's the email that was sent:

Dear Gunn Club

I am absolutely delighted to confirm our first 1/30th scale aircraft will be an FW190 limited to 150 ETO and 150 in another version yet to be decided. I have attached photos of the silicone mould we will be using to start casting with this week. For those of you with questions let me answer a few first before the emails start coming in:

1. Will the model be painted? Yes in 2 versions with transfers and exhaust stains alongside the engine.

2. Will there be a clear plastic canopy? Yes with fully detailed interior.

3. What will the price be? Not sure but hopefully less than others about to go on the market.

4. Will there be a pilot? Not sure – probably not as we have produced 3 figures that can be bought separate if so desired. If you feel strongly about the lack of pilot please let me know, but this is meant to be a stationary aircraft.

5. When will the aircraft be ready? July 2010.

6. Its got plastic guns? No these will be replaced by metal parts on the finished production model.

7. What do you think of this latest creation? In my humble opinion its one of the most beautiful pieces I have held in my hand and is absolutely stunning, this is why we chose the FW190 to be our first aircraft. If sales are good then we will be producing plenty more aeroplanes in the following months to come.

Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have that I have not answered above, once again thank you for your support because without you we would not be here. More pictures going on the website www.tomgunn.co.uk later on today!

Regards Thomas Gunn

I like the idea of no pilot and vote for that.

I agree with Brad....no pilot vote here.

I got updated eMail to my questions.....

Pad-printed markings.....moveable canopy...etc...

No pilot - detracts from the ground figures imho.

What exactly are pad-printed markings?
