New HANOMAG AK & Normandy photos on web site (1 Viewer)

Hi Brian, Just to confirm, The 251 comes with two figures, the gunner and one jumping soldier, yes? J

I just wanted to make sure as I have read elsewhere that it only comes w/ the gunner, which wouldn't add up anyway since the photos of the fully loaded 251 show 5 figures in all (2 that come w/ the vehicle + the 3 in the separate booster pack). Thanks - Joe

I think the 251 comes with a Driver ( must be one of those leaping out of the vehicle) and Gunner. There is supposed to be an expansion pack of 3 leaping figures.

The vehicle comes with the gunner and a driver. There is an add on pack of 3 soldiers. Look closely at the photo and you will see two of the jumping soldiers are the same figure, repeated for dramatic effect. -- lancer

I can't tell  Do you mean that for all 3 versions - AK, Winter & Summer? If there was a seated driver, he would be out of view in all of the photos but seeing 5 figures I thought one of them must be the driver. Perhaps Brian can answer this one?

Looking again, I confess I am stumped. I was referring to the summer version where it appeared that the rearmost 2 figures were the same. However the figures, while looking similar (helmet, smock, pose) are in fact carrying their rifle in opposite hands. Brian will have to answer this. -- lancer

The machine gunner and the jumper, that is the only jumper still in the vehicle ( his back to you right next to the machine gunner ) comes with the vehicle, all variants: those two positions.

The booster pack are the three remaining figures jumping out or on the edge of the vehicle.

kind regards,

Brian

Thank you for responding Brian. Responsive as always. -- lancer

Thanks for your reply! Having the thrown track as a removable feature is brilliant! Thank you for thinking of the various collector needs. With this info I will be getting two!

Cheers

I must say that I really do like the poses of the figures getting out. I don't think I've ever seen that before, nice job.

Thanks Terry, Lancer, and Brian for your replies. I was hoping the figure w/ his back to us nearest the gunner came with the winter 251 set and apparently he does. I'm really looking forward to adding this one to the collection. Hopefully, as Brian mentioned the inevitability thereof before, I hope there are some U.S. vehicles forthcoming to offer the Germans some resistance. As for now, these CS winter pieces look fantastic alongside the K & C BOB vehicles and figures.
