Great looking house, and I noticed "Shelby" on one of the car covers . . . sweet!!!

wonderful,,as his friends here in Dallas call him "carroll is hanging in " at almost 90 with all his new parts,,best wishes on the house and collection,,i felt that way myself five years ago,,nothing a good lawyer cant straighten out. Good with the fire base ,,those of us that were there ,,,,"Da nam "salute you ,,,just dont call it "the Naam "like most of the media or "historians" do

Thanks Walt it is coming along nicely. My den is still a mess, to much stuff to bring over and set up. I'm lucky to be able to put all my books in my library along with some nice displays.

I'm going to post more photos when my garage lifts arrive and are installed should be a couple more weeks. Right now I am fighting with the pool guy since his people that ran the gas lines destroyed my sprinkler system. Never a dull moment!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Glad you liked the Kramer! We have had it for a number of years and wife actually liked it behind my desk in library.

Vietnam firebase is up in my den along with Arnhem goodies, I will take a few more photos shortly......my camera is in the shop and I'm not quite up to speed on wife's......which explains all the fisheye photos.
I said either John has a self portrait that looks like Kramer...or it is Kramer! HAhahha^&grin I love the pool and of course the man cave! Please post photos of the finished pool and your display when you can. Congrats!

Meanwhile here is an interesting video...us car guys you know! (1936 Pontiac assembly line footage)

. . . . . . . . . . . .

Markey you would be surprised at how many people think "The Kramer" is a picture of me when I was younger! Once you tell them who it is.......they laugh.

Yesterday was crazy here, we had 11 people working on the house, no one can blame me for current unemployment situation! Sprinkler guys repaired system torn up by pool guys installing gas line for pool. Best Buy had 3 guys installing home theater and music system, which is still not done. And wife hated to see the stone masons almost finished so she added an outdoor fireplace and a stack stone wall to hide pool equipment. Oh and let's not forget the Trex decking since the pool guys are taking up the old decking on Monday and Tuesday when they finish the drainage for back yard.

Wife told me to quit complaining.......it seems we got a $12 refund from our insurance agent since he bundled all the policies.......so I guess it will all work out!

Actually, I'm not complaining everyone has done a great job.....(except the morons installing the gas lines that killed my sprinkler system and left a gas leak) work has been great, and prices have been very fair. Besides I just added 5 new customers to my morning paper route so I should have everything paid off in another 250 years!

I will take a few more pictures with wife's camera (mine is still in shop) and try to post them this weekend.

Final Inspection for Pool is being done today! Landscaping was finished yesterday and the people at property masters did a great job.........now if I can just leave it alone!

Still waiting on garage lifts, should be another week or two. I will take a few more photos and try and get them posted. Library is coming along.......but my Den is at a standstill. Just to much going on!

Hope everyone enjoyed Chicago, I certainly enjoyed the photos!

We also finished the garage, it took a crew of 3 10 hours but they did a great job and got the lifts in.

I think I'm going to take a couple of years off new projects!{eek3}

Very nice. That pool area definitely looks like a place to forget your troubles and just relax.
