Wars In The Middle East?!!!!!!!! 1948-till Now I Guess

The Six Day War series will be great! a lot of converted WWII U.S. armor were made such as the Sherman M4A3E8 "Easy Eight" with HVSS track and an upgraded gun barrel.

How about Renaissance warfare................
Landsknechts, Condotierre and even Ottoman Turks!
Very colorful costumes, muskets, pikes, highly decorated artillery, armored cavalry, flags and banners.
The only extensive range I know of was done in plastic by Elastolin.
Would be different.

I know Andy is all about doing something different, but why not do a French and Indian War line. This is a very neglected piece of history and I have been very interested in it ever since seeing Last of the Mohicans.

I almost forgot, what about Cortes and the Aztecs? Andy could make a whole Conquering the New World line.

Surely John Jenkins has the FIW sewn up..??
I like the idea of a Battle of Hastings line, but doesn't Conte do a Warlord range depicting the movie of the same name starring the late Chuck.
I begin to wonder if Pierre has hit on a good one. Kind of How The West Was Won, and not necessarily warfare. A sort of Streets Of Old Dodge City thing..??

Didn't Black Hawk just start doing the old west thing?

Shiloh,
Black Hawk do a Custer range. I don't collect them, but they look pretty good in the photo's. Someone is also doing a Great Minnesota Raid line - might also be Black Hawk - not sure. Are these the lines you're referring to?
Cheers

No good on the Old West theme , K&C thru Del prado (if K&C are still doing their figures) have already launched an Old West theme figure series,

Have to try again...War of the Roses , roundheads:cool:

Roundheads....hmmm....British Civil War certainly offers some colourful characters and I would certainly be interested. Is there enough international appeal? - dunno.
I give up. Best I can do is any from; Trojan War, Mongol Empire, 19th Century British Empire with my personal wish-for being Mongols.

I was in the cinema last night and seen a poster advertising a film called Mongol
about the young Genghis Khan. It is planned to be the first in a trilogy about Genghis Khan's life.

Yeah, I'm aware of it RH. I might be able to get a copy when I get home.
Even if its one of those copies where you wish the audience would sit down and stop fidgeting, its bound to be better than Omar Shariff's lame performance as Genghis Khan in the movie of the same name (late 1960's early 1970's..?? Can't remember).
Still, if its as good as I hope it is, then it might kindle some interest in what I think is a much overlooked Empire. The Mongols left their mark on Russia, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Turkey, Mesopotamia, China, to mention just a few. They even got as far as Vietnam.....

I seem to remeber that Great man John Wayne hamming it up in a movie about Genghis Khan once. It was terrible. Not one of his finest moments that is for sure

Maybe
Cant quite remember. He was a little bit unconvincing I am afraid.
