New Jagdtiger pic! (1 Viewer)

Rob is that not the colour the first king tiger was for fall of Berlin series
Scott

No mate, the Berlin KT was lighter colour than that if memory serves.

I'm sure it will be around $255 or more for this piece..... it is impressive. You added this to your list already Rob?

i think you are short- expecially if it's an SL set. Either way, depending on crew add ons, I'm thinking $275.

You bet Titus, as I say I want an example of this as it was the far end of German Tank design heading towards the absurd.

There is actually a Kodachrome colour shot 0f Jagdtiger 331 which was referenced as being painted an unusual colour scheme at the factory consisting of sand, red-brown, olive-green and grey.

I don’t want to divert from the discussion about the Jagdtiger (yes, as far as I am concerned it is more than a must have) but all of those panzerfaust figures are spectacular!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish the paint job was a little more vibrant. The green looks weak to me.
My price guess is $259.00 and it will be a SL.
I love the figures with the panzerfausts.

Your right when you say absurd Rob , I've been reading up on the Jagdtiger to get the tank to the front they had to be delivered by train or they would break down , to heavy to go over most bridges & to stop them getting into enemy hands the German blow more up than the allies shot up , good old Hitler :D

Agree about the SL label- but I think $259 is a tad low- the dragon wagon is $299 i think)- I gotta think this thing will have a pricetag proportionate to it's 71 ton girth......

...sit back and watch the posts fly when that thing gets released- especially if it's priced over $300- I may pop some popcorn in anticipation of all the fireworks!! :p:eek:

Cheers

As referenced to the color, of the two Porsche turret KT's that KC did, the first version was done with a yellow base oversprayed in a faint brown and green pattern; the second KT was a yellow base with a very distinct brown stripe overspray. Neither of these patterns is close to what the Jagdtiger paint job appears to be. As Rob mentioned earlier, the JT pattern is similar to something KC has done, but I can't remember what it was. -- Al

Al, I'm sure it was that Hetzer, lovely camo but never released in it.

Keep it silly

Chris, it was a late war AFV so too late for Desert, I'm guessing March for this?.

Chris, $259 was more hope than guess on my part. I was surprised, pleasantly so, with the Snow Tiger price. I was thinking at least $239, but I suppose only two crew kept it down. Are you saying there could be differing opinions regarding price when it's released?:D
