New Jersey Toy Soldier Show - November 1, 2020 (1 Viewer)

Matt,
Are you hosting your own toy soldier show soon?

I had opened up my warehouse and done some "in store" shows. The turnout has been good and sales were good. I will have a few more in November/December.

I have not booked or have a date for 2021 in Massachusetts. I am looking at a West Coaster Show but not sure if I can pull that off with flying, etc.

I am still undecided on this NJ show. I will most likely not attend the show in Virginia next month either.

Hi the promoter is Eddie Gries _ Relic Golden Amusements. Eddie is not online, so the information above is it. Looking forward to the show, always nice to get out and see things.

I will mention it in my next post on my website. I have to work on the day of the show, so I will not be able to make it.

Show Report:

Good show, no distancing issues. As expected, attendance is lower than normal for the "small side" New Jersey Shows. That said, the folks who came, came enthusiastically and came to shop. Good time, hard work, but a fun time overall. Lots of different items were present from Aeroart, Artisan figures, King & Country, Gunn, etc to foam diorama, military medals, 1/6 figures, another room full of merchandise.

As I have side time and time again, shows always provide unique items that are just not "current inventory". There is plenty of current inventory, but the greatest part of the show is the old stuff, the odd stuff, the unique stuff. You are not guaranteed to find what you are looking for, but for me at least, that is part of the thrill of the hunt.

Anyhow, it was good seeing nice people in the middle of this mess which made it fun!!!

Special thanks to Michael V. for providing homemade bakery donuts! I can't eat a donut for at least a year, but the Apple Fritter was outstanding and worth every 1 of the 1000 calories!!!!!!

Logan and I had a great time again and can't wait for March! (No snow and hopefully No cases!!)
Tom
