I fully agree Mike - These look great! I'm glad to see that JJ has given us a chance to get more firing grenadiers of the 44th Rgmt. I only got one set of BM-1 the first time, but wanted more. Thanks for posting the photos. - Ken

At long last JJD goes BOOM!
and on top of that the prices are great, especially for the cannon.:D
By the way John won't be at the Chicago show so there might not be a preview of the new series until later.

What can you say....

This is getting to be an expensive year !

Ron,

Yes with all the K&C releases this year it is getting expense. :(

I have stopped buying K&C unless limited editions, on the grounds I need to get John's sets first, due to the shortness of the supply period and when I get the cash I can buy the K&C ones.

But John's price of $25 US per figure for 2 figure sets and only $23 US for a 4 figure set and a artillery piece for $34 US. I do not know how the man does it, great prices. One would even say better pricing then K&C (I will hear about that one from Andy). :D

If you have not already placed your orders for the new sets I would now, at 350 sets they will be gone tomorrow.

Aussie Monty :)

All,

Have a look at John's web site new pictures.

Also have a good look at each section. You will find Future New Indians, Defending Grenadier and Provincial Militia, all new figures.

I will see if Brad will post the photo's.

Aussie Monty :)

I just looked at the new releases again - I must say these guys are great and that Artillery is something else. I cant wait to get my hands on those guys :D

I noticed the canons were unlimited, while the crew was not. Does anyone know if there are going to be plans for more crews for the canon?

I would like to see a crew firing the canon, not just moving it into position.

You can never have enough BOOM - BOOMS !! :D :D :D

Very nice as usual and the production numbers are right on. The balance of power is really leaning toward the Brits. Grenadiers and artillery vs a guy with no shirt. Plus the French already have that to cope with that officer inviting the brits to fire first. ;)

All of these new sets are due to ship to dealers from HK around August 27th; I'll have them for OTSN, plus the Virginia show I am doing at the Annandale Junior College on September 16th.

As great as the response has been to all the prior sets, the response to this latest batch is off the charts, especially BM 08 and 09.

There is a specific reason why the cannons are not limited in number; wish I could say why, but I am sworn to secrecy. All I can say is there is an excellent reason why and you'll all know soon enough..........;)

Warrior,

Let me guess, a limber by any chance  or the only other reason would be a second set of British Artillery :D

Those guesses should get a comment from Ron. :p

George

Hopefully its a Cannon Crew Firing one of those beautiful Cannons - you know how I like the Boom-Boom :D
