Answer form John yesterday,

"I go to China on Thursday to see if the next sets will be ready in time for the Chicago show. You know I dont like to promote the new sets untill I know they are ready. Hopefully I will announce the next sets on Monday."

Got my new JJD fiures yesterday and think they are really great, especially the "hatless" pair of Grenadiers. They add a new realism to the fight. I've set up a mini-dio in my front window and the morning sun hits it just right and makes you think you are watching the battle.

As an aside, I get some sunlight on my JJ figures as well. It concerns me a bit that it might damage the figures over the long term. Any idea if that is the case?

I think you are OK if its not direct sunlight - want to watch out for the heat factor !

I received all the september releases today from George. Nice additions although our French friends are increasingly outnumbered and things only get worse next month. Thanks again George.

received mine today also, beautifally done as usual... i totally agree with you that more french troops are needed. been collecting john's figures since their inception... my diarama has gone from 12"x30" to 12"x60" and now its 16"x72" and its still not big enough, but oh the joy......

Are you collecting all of John Jenkins - both Braddock and the Plains ?? Or are you doing one at a time??

As for me - I am trying to concentrait on just collecting the Braddock Collection and keep up with the releases. I will go back and start the Plains soon - I hope.

I'm doing both, but would focus on the lower production numbers first if you want to have a complete set. The 250-350 sets are either all gone or will be shortly. Then the 500's etc. I think the Brits are the most popular so always grab those before they sell out.
