I think club figures tend to be a tipoff of what's to come and, in addition to what I first said in this thread, I don't think he has any further interest in exploring modern or more modern conflicts, preferring to leave that to the FOVs of the world.

At the London Show, ACN did talk about liking the idea of more Modern (current) stuff, in particular, concentrating on British troops in Afghanistan. Could be a nice addition to the SF range with more troops and WMIK Landrovers. No arguements from me (shocker).

There were no definates, and I certainly got the feling that it wasn't in the current 9 months or so forecast, but it's the most positive indication that there may be more heading our way, that I've heard. Certainly hope so.

On the downside, there didn't sound to be too much hope for one of the other 'mini crusades' re the Commandos. Unless he can figure a way of doing HMS Campbeltown.

If I recall correctly, ACN mentioned a trip to Korea at OTSN Chicago 2009.

Perhaps, the Korean War is next up for a post-WWII line ??

I didn't think a post-WWII line would be that popular but there are quite a few collecters on this forum alone that want this.Maybe the time has come.

Maybe the 1967 and 73 conflicts are far enough in the past for most of us to be able to appreciate some military historical miniatures from the period. Despite my preference for US armored vehicles, I think an Israeli modified Centurion would be impressive. By 1967 the Israelis had started putting 105mm guns in them, by 1973 they all had 105s and the US diesel engines making a good battle tank into one of the world's best at the time. There are several plastic models produced in the last few years that could help build the pilot models.

Thanks. The Battle for the Old City of Jerusalem in 1967 with all the Biblical sites as a background can be a fascinating series. I think the Old City of Jerusalem has tremendous historical perspective for all religions. I hope you surprise us in 2010.

Well it wouldn't be something I would be interested in buying but then I draw the line for that at 1815 with a small foray into 1879. Nonetheless, I must admit it would be interesting to see. There is certainly no shortage of excellent Israeli military hardware and figures to chose from. Those Israeli Centurions would be cool. Oops I'd better be careful I guess since if Gary can buy an aircraft...............
