Hey guys check out these photos of the new Lysander warbird on the K&C website - along with a shot of a new Austin Tilly RAF utility vehicle with clear windows and an open back (I have the prototype of the Austin Tilly Utility vehicle from a couple of years ago, but it has painted windows and a covered back):

Louis,

Is the Lysander in your future. Wish I could but only one plane this year.

No, also I can only afford one K&C warbird this year, and I already pre-ordered one of the P47 Thunderbolts.

I would have loved to get one of the Lysanders, but I will defnitely buy at least one of the Austin Tillys.

Hey Louis where did these come from?

The Bedford QL Fuel Bowser (Blue and Yellow Truck) is a regular production K&C wood and metal model from 1996. About 30 were made (I have one). Obviously, Andy kept one for K&C's archives. I don't know where the blockbuster bomb came from. The Austin Tilly in the background is a prototype, and is in my collection.

Cheers Gents:
The "blockbuster bomb" is from one of the Corgi 1/32 scale dh98 Mosquito sets (AA34601 Mosquito B MkXVI Moncton Express III).
Tally Ho,
Marc

Thank you gentlemen.

Just saw the Thunderbolt on Bill's site. Very nicely done.

Simply beautiful works of art! Time to do some Squadron history research for the fun of it.

Tally Ho,
Marc

Here's a link to some photos of my K&C and Heco airfield diorama (the photos appear in posts 207 and 208, about 3/4 of the way down the page):

http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8275&page=21

Two K&C wood and metal Austin K2 Ambulances (one green, one blue), one of the Bedford QL Fuel Bowsers, my prototype Austin Tilly, one of the masters of the Churchill Command Car, and about 25 or so K&C RAF and USAAC Warbirds are depicted, alongside a one of a kind K&C Control Tower (custom made at my request as one of the first two commissions from Gordon Neilson's K&C Projects Studio when it opened in 2005), one of the old K&C wood and papier mache Quonset Huts, and two of the new K&C polystone Quonset Huts. Every Allied aircraft related figure K&C has released to date is on the diorama. There are also two Heco Tinplate Models tin Nissen Huts, a Heco Wind Tower and a Heco RAF Water Tower, along with a Heco V2 Rocket Launch diorama, and about 15 Heco aircraft and vehicles.

Wayne,

Look under Wooden Warbirds, then the Connoisseur section, and you'll find it on the last page.

Cheers,

Ta Brad this is amazing.
