New Man in the Ranks (1 Viewer)

Jackaroo,
Don't listen to these guys !!
Branching out and multiples is a good thing. Not that I am biased at all.
Regards
Brett

Gentlemen , one and all, thanks for your warm welcome and words of wisdom re branching out. I certainly plan to curtain my enthusiasm and pursue only a couple of themes, with an emphasis on setting up the odd dio in the future.

John, Born in Sydney and now I live in Brisbane. Cheers JR

G’Day,

I thought I better bite the bullet and join the forum, as I have been lurking in the shadows recently, gaining a better understanding of my new addiction. I have only just very recently been introduced to K&C and it has rekindled a dormant passion. I have already enjoyed the “hunt” of gaining retired items and the anticipation of what is next.

My initial interest lies with WWII, particularly an emphasis on the later war years. I have been impressed by the Bulge series and this is probably the front runner for me at present. I am sure it won’t take much to branch out and I am already eyeing off the Crimea & Napoleonic’s.

I look forward to sharing the experience!

Cheers,

JRoo

Welcome aboard! BoB is a good range, quite a lot of the older stuff still reasonably priced after the march of inflation. The Nap CGs and the Old Guard are all very nice as well. Have been also looking at the Crimean range..!

Welcome mate,
Am new to the ranks myself-been collecting Market Garden sets and was going to stick mainly to that-no such luck. Broke down and bought some 8th Army and British D-Day pieces am now looking at the British pieces in the WWI and Napoleonic series-"addiction" is putting it mildly. Strange thing is--I'm a Yank.

Hi Jroo and welcome to the forum. I'm relatively new here as well compared to most of the folks around here. I find it to be a lot of fun w/ a lot of good people. I hope you enjoy the forum as well!
