Last week I took advantage of an ebay offering for the Ox Cart set, LOJ020.
When receiiving the parcel I was worried if the sender forgot to put the item in the box.
It just weighed next to nothing.
However, after opening the box, I actually did receive this fine set, as shown in the picture below.
What I would want to ask, are all the sets in the Life of Jesus series made of plastic/resin?
The sculpting on this Ox Cart set is fine, but I find the msrp of $129.00 rather steep for a plastic set.

Yes, It seems that the old poly-stone is becoming a thing of the past. In the airplanes it can be understood and the price is still good due to the complexity.

I would have to agree with your view on this figure.

What does Andy have to add?

Konrad,
The LOJ animal set is made of the same material but not the figures. A kind of resin I think. No idea of the cost of that particular material.

is the cart plastic or, is it just the cows??

Not so sure about the comment that polystone is becoming a thing of the past. not with K&C anyway as that is the main medium they are using now as they have for a long long time. I think many have commented that its unlikely to change

Really like the set, in fact I have 2, but I miss the weight factor, just something about a heavy figure that suggests you have a substantial item of value. Possibly solid wheels on the wagon and solid base for the animals would have done the trick. Cheers, Robin.
