Very very nice ... Can't wait to see the final painted figure :smile2:

Hopefully, a WWII pose can be recreated in a similar pose without hat.

That looks quite nice. A Baker rifle is 45" so that would make this fellow appear about 5'9" or so, which certainly is within a normal range depending.

This is a great non-combat pose and the facial details are excellent.
But I am confused by the shako and a few other things. He does look like he is carrying a Baker rifle but it looks a bit long in comparison to other recent TG releases of the 95th.
His shako doesn't look like it's a 95th rifles shako and the shako plate is wrong if that is what he is supposed to be.
He has lots of buttons on his tunic like a 95th but I can't see a powder horn and, although it's not clear, it does look like he is carrying a normal infantry bayonet rather than a sword bayonet.
I suppose we will have to wait until we see the painted version and some more shots.
Perhaps he is holding someone else's shako!^&grin

Perhaps so. Those are all good points and I wondered about them myself but thought that the firearm seemed a bit too short for a musket (58ish inches) but actually it does seem a quite long for a Baker. Actually I messed up the simple math on the last post and a Baker would make that figure closer to 5 ft. I guess we will have to wait as you say.

In another thread Obee posted that these are:

HANVOVER Light Battalion , Luenberg 1815

Reason is the Belgic Shako with white horse of Hanover on the front.

My references are:

OSPREY Men At Arms # 206 Plate E3

and

Knoetel Uniforms

All the other figures so far are wearing their greatcoats. This one has his on his back.

Thanks for that. I have now caught up on the other posts.
I like the idea of Hanover troops. I really like the sculp of the guy in the great coat kneeling firing.
Does anyone know where people are finding the pictures of these sculps. I can't see them on the TG website.
I used to get emails from TG but they seem to have dried up recently.
Cheers
Paul

I like the idea as well, would love to see The Prince of Orange and some Hanovarian Militia for Quatre Bras and Waterloo.

The British Army at both battles was made up of British as well as multiple nationalities that would look great in anyones collection.

A great looking figure this one is.
