In answer to your question, I belive it was mentioned somewhere that the new infantry would be Coldstream Guards.

My guess would be yes on that one as andy seems to have moved into a waterloo direction on the last sets with the scotts greys that didn,t see any action in the peninsular war and the gaurds are best remembered at waterloo and for there defence of hougomont.

Hi Guys,

Thought I would put my 2 cents worth in.

I think the French Infantry is basically covered, Guard, Light (Retired) & Line.

The British with the Highland, Light (Retired), KGL & Guard to come, are basically covered also.

So unless Andy is going to redo the French & British Lights (Retired) or keep adding to the existing or similar regiments and assuming he is going to stay with the Waterloo Theme.

These are some of the possibilities, I think:

- One of the other Highland Regiments (but most likely not as we have one already).

- If I do not put 95th Rifles next there will be trouble (but this maybe unlikely also as we have the KGL).

- Next would have to be the Dutch and Belgium Infantry (But these may not sell real well so thats up to Andy, I would buy them).

- My number one bet would be Brunswick Infantry, which could turn into cavalry, artillery and a General. (Yep this is the one, would make very nice pieces).

- That leaves Nassau and the other small contingencies. (But these would have the same problem as the Dutch & Belgium).

- Before someone tells me I have forgotten the other army on the field at Waterloo, we have the Prussians (These would be my second guess).

The above assumes Andy will stay with Waterloo, if he does not the options are to many for this posting.

Whilst I will support any expansion of Napoleonic troops, I must say that the French Guards are still very underrepresented in the context of Waterloo.

The commitment of the Imperial Guard was the last major act in Waterloo. I would love to see the Guards advance in more "fighting" poses ... charging & firing, much like that latest Grenadiers release.

Outside Waterlooo ... some Austrians & Russians would be very nice.
