THANK YOU - Brad ! It is very great to have the proper tech assistance in these photo matters.

And thank you Wellington and Fubar - the photos themselves arent that great - but, I think you guys get the idea of what I have displayed in my office. I do have a large number of Dragoons charging that square. :D

I think Andy was impressed ... and he has said in past postings that he would only do a Napoleonic Figures which was colorful - The Polish Uniforms were colorful ? and we know he dislikes the Prussians unifform

Agreed that the Prussians are dark uniformed ...

But I wonder how Andy feels about the Austrians in white ... personally, I find the Austrians real cool, right next to the Russians.

I have always been a strong believer that the Napoleonic Range needs to get outside just a French vs. English Conflict.

The Napoleonic Period was the FIRST World War and many countries were involved. The Polish Lancers prove that making other allies will be a BIG SELLER for K&C for this range. Like I have stated before - if you make a few infantry to start - something collectors will buy muliples of -- you can gauge the success of the figure addition to the range.

Dont get me wrong - I am extremely happy that Andy has given us new French Heavy Calvary and soon to be released Cold Stream Guards - but, there is still a bigger market out there for additional "other ally" figures - IMO.

KV

Just stand right there - I have some Heavy Calvary coming to greet you. :D

I am wondering if you have seen the new Heavy Cavalry at the Symposium ... can you tell if these are truer to 1/32 like the new ACW ... or do they remain like the previous, close to 1/30 scale/size, ala the retired Dragoons.

NOPE - Louis hadnt got his paws on those wonderful figures - I dont even think he collects the new Napoleonic stuff ? So you guess is as good as mine. I would think they would be simular to the Dragoons.

'sI think I've contracted "Napoleonic Fever" after seeing what's available. Should I resist it or give in and start a new collecting direction? Thanks in advance for the advice.

Steve,

I think you might as well just give in to "the fever." You can only fight it so long before you sucumb! I fought it for a long time and it still got me in the end. Please know you have my deepest sympathy. ;)

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

THE NAPOLEONIC RANGE IS A GOOD WAY TO GO BECAUSE MOST OF THE SOLDIERS ARE SOLD SEPERATELY SO YOU CAN START OFF SLOW AND NOT HAVE TO SPEND ALOT OF MONEY RITE OUT.:D

Sirsydney

Come on over and join the French Revolution :D

We have a place for you in the GRANDE ARMEE !!;)

You will find that the Napoleonics are a great set to collect. The colors and the history is just wonderful. It is also very Politically Correct to display - I have found that everyone who comes into my office is very interested in the period and the great figures.

No one in America is put-off by the period or the politics of the time. Actually its a funny feeling of rooting for both sides - We of course have our "special relationship" with the English and that brings a kinsmanship to them - but, we appreciate the French for their help against those nasty English Monarchs in our own revolution and enjoy watching that Union Jack get slashed by some French Calvary - interesting mix wouldnt you say?

The Germans (Nazis) and the Civil War period has the ability to cause those PC activists a reason to stir - but, the Napoleonic Wars do not. :D
