Oh,Oh,The plains indians are beating the woodland boys!Why did I vote for both?^&confuse{sm3}
Mark

With Conte, Frontline and of course John Jenkins, we all had/have a good chance at Woodland Indians, so I think here on this poll the Plains Indians are rightfully up front :wink2:
Wonder how far the poll will get close to reality. Something interesting to look forward to.

I think the plains will be a harder sell as there will be many more mounted figures which of course will cost more.Of course if someone really wants something they always seem to find a way to get it.I voted for both.

Sir Ken, most collectors want the plains indians^&grin

Francisco

That might not be entirely true as some of us voted for more than one range.I voted for plains war and FIW but would prefer FIW and I think some others would too.We should have only voted for one.

i voted for the plains indian wars, but i thought we should pick something new like the english civil war, the boxer rebellion or one that wasn't offered. the french foriegn legion in north africa

Amen - to including the French Foreign Legion, brother! (Hawkeye's suggestion).

Why not include an "Other" then "Specify" in any multi-choice poll - then you will pick up some valuable info that you might have otherwise missed?

Just a thought. johnnybach

Voted for Ancients and English Civil War. If Romans, I would like Britains to do a Rome vs. Carthage series - with war elephants, Numidian & Spanish cavalry, plus Republican Romans and their allies.

Everybody - Conte, K&C, FL is doing Imperial Romans - this would set the Britains Romans apart. I do have a large collection of AeroArt Romans and Carthaginians, including their fantastic war elephant, plus other vendors' figures such as the Blackhawk Zama series, Andrea Miniatures pieces sold by other Spanish Partware companies, but I am always interested in adding figures to my armies.

Normans and Vikings would also be nice, I could add them to my Conte figures.

On another note, how about Aztecs and Conquistadors?

I have been collecting the Britains ACW matte range since 1998, as well as their Great War series, and have just recently started to collect their War on the Nile series - their Gunboat was just too nice to pass up.

But English Civil War and Rome vs. Carthage would be outstanding. Just imagine a Roman vs. Carthage sea battle with two war galleys - that would be truly something to awe me. And hopefully the price would be more competitive than Andrea's outstanding Roman Bireme (which I have been coveting for many years).

Just my five cents.

Most collectors gave our vote to the Plains Indian War
the company will have taken note?^&confuse

Francisco:salute::

Under ancients I would like to see Classic Greek hoplites done. A phalanx of Spartans would be nice. Also like the Afghan war possibilities. Would love to see figures for the 44th Foot at Gandamak done. -- Al

English Civil War would be a nice range for Britains! I would prefer glossy figures and accessories for this range, though...

Boer War{sm3}{sm3}{sm3}!!! I want K&C to dit, but W Britains are just as good, either way don't care who makes them first! Boer skirmishers, young Churchill, fighting horsemen, arty and machine guns! Not to mention all the possible dios{eek3}

I would only buy Boer if they made a train- but I would definitely get that if they made it.

Ah, so much history, so few toy soldiers. Is there an all of the above option? :)
